Sole F63 Motor Control Board (2011 - 2015)

Question

Q: I have a sole F63 Rating: 120 Vac, 60 Hz, 60 A Serial number 563814 1502010703 This appears to be the motor control board I need, but it is not exactly the same as the one I have. There are some subtle differences. Will this motor control board work for this model. I’d like to be sure before purchase.

Q: I have an f63, serial # 35638141412007762. At the far lower left of the control board pictured, there are two green lights. The lower one is lit constantly. My belt motor won't engage. I hit start and nothing happens and then I get a low speed error. I was told that the green light might indicate something is wrong. Do I need a new board? The motor runs when I attached a 9V battery and the speed sensor light goes on when I turn the motor by hand. Any help is appreciated.

This controller was first introduced 14 years ago. Every 2 years a new versions is introduced as the technology changes. So all configurations and software are the same but it definitely looks different today. I believe for the 2024 version, there is a 2nd drive motor capacitor added to the board as well. But the answer is yes it will work on a 2014 F63.

A: Bruce, you a new motor control board. The constant green light rules out any power supply issues. The 9v battery test rules out the drive motor.
